The Bayon #541 - Limited Edition
  • The Bayon #541 - Limited Edition

Photography: Color and Digital on Paper.

Monks walking down the main stairway of the Bayon. The Bayon was built in the 12th and 13th centuries as the state temple of King Jayavarman VII. It stands at the centre of his capital, Angkor Thom.

Fortune was smiling on me this day as I stood admiring the magnificent temple, the monks appeared out of the temple and walked down the stairs, to add the finishing touch to this scene.
